Q.Institute GMiM target working students with a Bachelor degree (MQF level 6); the admission for GMiM at Q.Institute has three different channels:
- Individual applications: for example students contacting us for applying to GMiM
- Q.Institute campaigns targeting specific student groups: for example for alumni of a 1 year Master program of a specific school, we offer Recognition of Prior Learning and a tailored program of studies for completing the missing credits towards a full Master title by the European Higher Education Standards.
- Partner companies campaigns: for example a company launches a recruiting campaing offering a job and the GMiM at Q.Instite
Individual applications shall contact hosa@q.institute and share their CV and motivation letter; the motivation letter is important for understanding what the applicant is expecting and make sure we can deliver it; for example the need of recognition of prior learning, needs in terms of pace of learning, expected outcomes from the learning jouney, etc. We want to make sure that applicants fit with GMiM and that GMiM can serve their needs.
Q.Institute campaigns are published under the GMiM Graduate Master in Management section of the site. They have a specific duration and target specific groups, with the intent of making the admission process more convenient. For example when we do a campaign with MBA alumni of a specific school, we do study their previous programas in advance, we identify the missing credits/courses they have to complete to achive the GMiM, we define a level of fees and the list of documents they need to provide for their application in the specific case. If a specific group has done a previous MBA of 1 year with 60 ECTS and we consider that we can recognize 50 of those ECTS, then students of that group will be offerend a program of studies for 70 ECTS, which are those they need to reach the Master level.
Partner companies may decide to use GMiM as part of their recruitment package; they launch a recruitment campaign and involve Q.Institute in the selection of students, who need to pass two admissions: the recruitment process at the partners company and the admission process at Q.Institute. Once admitted, students will work and learn with a pace of learning agreed with the employer.
Tuition Fees: our fees are of 75€/ECTS, which means that you pay as you advance. This is both good value and flexible, as students can opt-out at any time and pay only the courses attended. For example, if you enroll in a course of 6 ECTS, you committ to pay 450€. Such a fee strucure dilutes taoal cost overtime, it allows you to pay for the courses you need/want to attend, and it does not penalise you in case you want to quit the program. Furthermore, we value the principle of value for effort: fees are not all, students will be investing their time; we have designed the program to optimise students’ time investment, in terms of flexibility of learning schedules, time used for administrative processes, limiting redundancies with previous courses/experience, tailoring learning curricula, etc.).
